Improving your chances of acceptance series: Super curricular activities

Updated: Jan 16, 2025

We don't just like students to stay busy and productive, we recommend exploring super curricular activities because by doing them - you demonstrate purposeful effort in your field. Super-curricular activities refers to activities where they are taking their academic interests to the next level.

Here are some websites to explore for short - and sometimes long, online courses.

Bonus point: If you want to review these courses then please contact us. We are happy to take your reviews and pas them onto future students.

Extra:

  1. University of Oxford’s Suggest Subject Resources where students can find books, journals, and even YouTube videos to explore.

  2. Giving.sg where students can find in person and virtual ways to volunteer their time based on their specific interests. Use the filter option to really narrow it down.

  3. Attend a public lecture with the fantastic universities in Singapore. Often hosted by individual departments, these are open to the public. A few upcoming ones will be hosted by NUS College of Design and Engineering, Yale-NUS College,  and Nanyang Technological Univeristy.
