This month, the Careers and Higher Education Office has seen many of our students ask for and receive letters of recommendation for career placements, summer schools, medical internships and university applications.
What is unique about our Careers and Higher Education Office is the emphasis our students place on the importance of expressing gratitude. Many of the teachers and recommendation writers report that they really appreciate thank you letters, or just being told thank you after preparing recommendations. This highlights the strong relationships our students as they build trust and respect with the people around them.
Over the next few weeks, we continue to discuss with your students the significance of thanking others. It makes such a positive impact on the people around them and on their educational journey. Continuing this tradition of community is another reason why our Careers and Higher Education Office is an exceptional place to work and study.
